HIGH SCHOOL
Southlake Carroll High School, Southlake, Texas ... Two-year starter at middle linebacker ... Captain of a 2003 team that went 15-1.Ranked 39th on The Dallas Morning News Area Top 100 list, was a Waco Tribune-Herald Top 100 selection and a member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Area 75 list ... Earned first-team 5A all-state honors from both The Associated Press and Texas Sports Writers Association as a senior ... Tallied 311 tackles in 2003 with nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, four pass breakups, four fumbles caused, three fumble recoveries, an interception and a safety ... Led Dragons to 2003 Class 5A Division II title game at 15-1 ... Six-time team Defensive Player of the Week ... Team Defensive Player of the Year ... Recorded 25 tackles in Dragons' 37-21 semifinal victory over Allen in 2003 playoffs and had 23 stops in 2003 quarterfinal win over Irving ... Had more than 200 tackles and named first-team all-district as a junior in helping Carroll to a 16-0 record and the Class 5A Division II title ... Accepted a full ride to Baylor University. Was a four year letterman playing in 46 career games for the Baylor Bears. Was a key contributor on all four special teams while spending time at MIKE Linebacker for the bears. Was a four-time Academic All Big 12 selection while graduating in 3 and half years.
COACHING CREDENTIALS
Received a Masters Degree in Sports Pedagogy with advanced coursework in Advanced Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics, Motor Learning, and Sport Psychology. Has trained over 11 Division I athletes in strength and Conditioning and Speed development. Has tutored defensive athletes in developing skills to take them to the next level. Skilled in creating individualized strength and conditioning and speed development plans to an athlete’s needs. Also creates nutritional guides for athletes of all ages looking for peak performance.
